Player Discipline

Everything we do and teach is filtered through our values. So, when we talk about discipline for our team, we do so with the expectation that we will all “do our job” regardless of where we are or what we’re doing, whether that’s as a student, a player on the team, or as a. member of our community.

We will always refer first to our Student Handbook regarding formal expectations and discipline of our student-athletes. However, when there’s not a clear plan to follow from the handbook, we’ll adhere to the following:

First Offense: we’ll notify the parent(s) of the issue, and meet with the student-athlete to discuss the situation to make sure she understands the expectations. The student-athlete will receive a Cube Roll.

Second Offense: we’ll schedule a meeting with the parent(s) and agree on a plan to correct the behaviors.

Third Offense: we’ll have a meeting with the parent(s) and the student-athlete will be put on a Discipline Contract that outlines formal expectations, including the understanding that any future infractions will result in the student-athlete being removed from the program.
